I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Georgia. I study ethnoracial politics and elections in the United States. Specifically, I work to understand how Latine identities are politicized into within-group status hierarchies and its impact on political behavior.

I received my PhD from the University of California San Diego and my B.A. in Political Science, summa cum laude, from the University of Florida.
